First 90 Days Planner for Newly Licensed Florida Clinicians

Choose your next step after licensure.

A planner for newly licensed Florida LMHCs, LCSWs and LMFTs. Choose your work arrangement, work through 20 practical tasks and keep the next action in view.

Use it while starting an employed role, comparing contract work or setting up your own practice. Mark tasks that do not apply to your work and leave unanswered questions open.

A plan you can return to.

Set a planning start date and choose your profession. Each task has a status, your own target date and space for the next step, the person responsible and what you still need to check.

  • 20 tasks with status, target date and notes, across four suggested planning windows.
  • A next-action field, open questions and a next-quarter review.
  • Separate LMHC, LCSW and LMFT workspaces.
  • Saving in your browser, backup and restore, and a readable text export.
  • An optional offline copy for use in a browser on a computer.
  1. Days 1–14

Check your license record, course follow-up, renewal instructions, coverage and starting work arrangement.

  2. Days 15–30

Plan your week and review pay, records, practice setup and payer enrollment where relevant.

  3. Days 31–60

Review your actual time, referral approach, public information and consultation process.

  4. Days 61–90

Review workload and money, plan continuing education and choose the next quarter’s priorities.

See the kind of work inside.

These examples come from the first planning window. You choose the status and target date in the planner.

Confirm your license record

Verify your active license and credential before changing signatures, profiles or agreements. Keep the official issue date and renewal details in your own records.

Check professional liability coverage

Ask the insurer or employer what work, locations and outside activities your coverage includes. Record unanswered questions and the renewal date, without policy account details.

Choose a starting work arrangement

Compare employed work, contract work and independent practice. Identify the decision you can make now and the questions that need a written answer.

Read the free First 90 Days guide for the overview. The planner adds an editable place to track your own work.

Open it from your purchase email.

After purchase, your delivery email has one Open your planner button. It opens the planner in a browser, without a separate DTL account or file extraction.

Your notes stay in the browser you use. To move them to another device, export a backup, open the planner there and restore the file. Keep your purchase email and backup files private.

No client information, passwords or private clinical records belong in the planner. Browser clearing and storage restrictions can remove saved work, so keep a backup.

Before you buy.

Do I have to start a private practice?

No. The planner covers employed, contract, independent and mixed work. Mark a task as not relevant when it does not apply to your arrangement.

Does day 1 have to be my license issue date?

No. Day 1 is the planning start date you choose. These are suggested planning windows, so you can start later or carry unfinished work into the next quarter.

Does it track official deadlines or continuing education hours?

It prompts you to verify your actual renewal and course requirements. It does not calculate legal deadlines, track continuing education hours or establish compliance. Use the current Board instructions and notices in your account.

Will my notes appear on another device?

They do not sync automatically. Export a backup for the selected profession, then restore that file in the other browser. A readable text export is for reference and cannot restore the planner.

What if I need help opening the planner?

Contact Degree to License with the email address you used at checkout. Include an order reference if you have one, but you can ask for help without it. Do not send client information or your saved planner file.

What is the refund policy?

If the planner is not useful to you, contact Degree to License within 14 days of purchase to request a refund. Use the email address you used at checkout. Include an order reference if you have one.

Does buying the planner sign me up for updates?

Buying the planner does not add you to the updates list. You can subscribe separately if you want new guides and resource updates.

Are the guides and Board instructions still free?

Yes. The DTL guides and official Board instructions remain free. The purchase is for the editable planner and its files.
