The Florida Hours Tracker

A Google Sheet that counts your supervised hours against what Florida actually requires, and projects the date you are on track to finish. Free, and it works the same whether you are a counseling, social work, or marriage and family intern.

What it does

  1. Counts all three requirements at once. The 1,500 face-to-face psychotherapy hours, the 100 hours of supervision, and the 100 weeks the Board requires you to spread them over. Most people track the first and meet the other two by accident.
  2. Keeps your supervision dates in order. The Board sometimes asks why a stretch ran longer than two weeks. This is so you can answer that with a record rather than an estimate.
  3. Projects your finish date. Based on the pace you have actually been logging, not the pace you meant to keep.
  4. Keeps your DH-MQA 5049 date in front of you. Hours you worked before your supervisor was on file with the Board do not count, and that is a discovery people tend to make late rather than early.

One thing this tracker is not

It is not a filing with the Board, and it does not replace the forms your supervisor signs. It is a running record you keep for yourself, so that when you do sit down to apply, the numbers are already there and you are not reconstructing two years from memory and an old calendar.
