This estimates the 1,500 client hours, 100 supervision hours and 100 supervised weeks listed for Florida LMHC experience. It does not decide whether hours count or when you will receive a license. Education, exam, courses, application and Board review are separate.

How the calculator works

Say you start counted supervision on November 2, 2026, see clients 15 hours per working week and have one hour of supervision per working week, with three weeks off each year. From zero progress, the calculator projects all three milestones around November 14, 2028. Time off is spread evenly through the year and dates are rounded up to the next whole day.

If you have already started, add the actual hours and supervised weeks you have completed through today. Blank totals count as zero. This is a planning estimate; your records and the Board determine which experience counts.

For other weekly client loads, read how long licensure takes, with examples.

These dates are estimates. Check the current requirements in Rule 64B4-2.002, F.A.C.
