NOW AVAILABLE
Spend less time managing calendars.
DegreeToLicense Calendar Sync helps therapists keep availability aligned across Google Calendar and scheduling systems. It reads unavailable time from selected Google calendars and mirrors it to a separate Busy Mirror calendar using generic events.
New subscribers get a 21-day free trial. Founding pricing is available for the first 50 subscription signups: $4.99/month or $49/year. Standard pricing is $7.99/month or $79/year.
Every new platform can become another calendar to maintain.
Therapists often manage availability across an EHR, insurance platforms, referral platforms, and a personal calendar. When those systems do not see one another, every schedule change becomes manual and every calendar becomes another place to miss.
Built to share availability, not appointment content.
Calendar Sync reads event timing and titles from the Google calendars a user selects. Titles are used while syncing so the service can apply any exact-title exclusions the user enters. The service writes only generic Busy events to its dedicated Busy Mirror calendar. Source titles, descriptions, locations, attendees, and other appointment details are not copied into the mirror.
- One-way busy-time mirroring from 1–20 selected Google calendars.
- Generic Busy events without source titles or descriptions.
- A dedicated, app-created Busy Mirror destination calendar.
- Optional exact-title exclusions controlled by the user.
- Automatic recurring updates after setup.
- Google Calendar first, with connected platforms reading the mirror as availability.
A narrow job with a clear privacy boundary.
Calendar Sync is not an EHR, client record, messaging system, or clinical documentation tool. Its purpose is limited to creating generic availability blocks. The service stores the account information, calendar selections, user-entered exclusion rules, encrypted Google authorization, and operational records needed to run the sync. It does not store source calendar events or their titles, descriptions, locations, or attendees.
Users should not enter patient names or other sensitive details as exclusion rules. Using Calendar Sync does not by itself make a practice HIPAA compliant; each clinician remains responsible for evaluating their systems, agreements, settings, and legal obligations.
How Calendar Sync works
- Connect your Google account.
- Choose the Google calendars that should contribute unavailable time.
- Calendar Sync creates and maintains a dedicated Busy Mirror calendar.
- Configure supported scheduling platforms to read Busy Mirror as an availability calendar.
Calendar Sync updates automatically, but Google and connected scheduling platforms control parts of their own refresh behavior. Availability can be delayed, so the service should not be treated as the only safeguard against double booking.
21 days free for new subscribers.
Choose monthly or annual billing after signing in. A payment method is required. New subscribers pay after the 21-day trial unless they cancel. Returning subscribers restart at standard pricing without another free trial. Review the amount and renewal terms in Stripe before confirming.

Frequently asked questions
Does Calendar Sync copy client information?
Calendar Sync reads event timing and titles from the Google calendars you select. Titles are used while syncing to apply any exact-title exclusions you configure. It does not copy source titles, descriptions, locations, attendees, or other appointment details into Busy Mirror, and it does not store source calendar events. Do not enter patient or client information in exclusion rules.
Which calendars does it support?
Calendar Sync currently supports 1–20 readable calendars in one connected Google account. These can include Google calendars and calendars subscribed to through Google Calendar when Google makes their events available to the app. Access and refresh timing for subscribed calendars are controlled by Google and the original calendar provider.
Will it connect directly to Headway, Grow Therapy, SonderMind, or an EHR?
Calendar Sync does not connect directly to those platforms. It creates a secondary Google calendar named Busy Mirror. Where supported, you configure a scheduling platform to read Busy Mirror as an availability or conflict calendar. Available settings and refresh timing vary by platform and account. TherapyNotes can contribute appointments through a calendar subscription added to Google Calendar, but Calendar Sync does not connect directly to TherapyNotes.
How many calendars can I connect?
You can select between 1 and 20 readable Google source calendars. Calendar Sync’s own Busy Mirror calendar is automatically excluded as a source.
Does this make a practice HIPAA compliant?
No. No individual tool can make a practice HIPAA compliant, and DegreeToLicense does not represent that using Calendar Sync establishes compliance. Calendar Sync is designed to limit what it copies by writing only generic Busy events, but each clinician remains responsible for evaluating their systems, vendor agreements, settings, workflows, and legal obligations before using the service with real appointment calendars.
